Cartoni Beta Fluid Head
The CARTONI BETA is the ideal mate for today's on-the-move compact ENG Camcorders. The lightest weight head in its class, the BETS provides outstanding pan and tilt features and the exquisite CARTONI feel. The camera weight ic counter balanced by two groups of helicoidal springs operated by two easy action levels allowing 3 stepped balance weight plus "free" position.
Cameras of 5Kg. (11 Ibs) are easily counter balanced with the first group of springs. The second group allows support of an 8Kg. (18 Ibs) video camera, while with both groups engaged, the system is ready to counter balance a 12Kg (26 Ibs) camcorder. The 40mm sliding plate combined with the 5 preset table tilt angles, allows the camera to be perfectly balanced and easily mounted.
The BETA fluid damping system is activated vertically and horizontally by two patient CARTONI "labyrinth" modules providing 3 levels of progressive Intense as well as "0" for freewheeling.
The CARTONI BETA features a 95mm bowl-type base, a telescopic handle and quick-release camera plate.
The standard flip clamping aluminium or ultra-light carbon fiber tripod, available in both single or two stage versions, makes the system light enough to "pick up and go" wherever you shoot.
