Cartoni Delta Fluid Head
Ideal for supporting ENG dockable camcorders equipped with large battery packs, the DELTA also can be successfully employed with cameras utilizing EFP accessories, manufactured with an extensive use of ultra-light magnesium alloy, this fluid Head combines excellent reliability with unabated cost efficiency and flexibility. The fully variable counterbalancing system is designed to accommodate offset payloads such as long lenses, small prompters and top-mounted viewfinders, while a friction less fluid drag mechanism allows perfect reproduction of 10 basic tension settings plus 30 intermediate positions for both pan and tilt functions.
Cameras weighing from 8 kg (18 Ibs) to 17 kg (37 Ibs) are perfectly balanced by the new patented CARTONI system which assures excellent performance at any position. Tilt angle can be increased up to +/- 90"by using the lightweight sliding base plate. The system features an extremely compact mechanism working through the compression of four elastic elements activated by an ergonomic knob and connected to an eccentric aluminium shaft.
The DELTA features an innovative fluid damping system, which represents a sophisticated development of the award winning vertically, a large size single -action module which assures consistent drag level combined with extremely smooth and precise camera movements.
Powered by a standard 9V battery,two digital displays indicate respectively the counterbalancing and tilt drag values, while an illuminated spirit level allows easy setup even in low light conditions
The DELTA is also provided with a 50mm range sliding plate, camera quick-release system and safety lock mechanism.
A wide range of 100 mm bowl tripods is available in
both aluminium and carbon fiber versions, either in single or two stage extension,
featuring standard or extra light tubes.
