LISTEC PROMPTING SOFTWARE

WINDOWS PROMPTER PROGRAMS

NOW THERE ARE TWO WINDOWS PROMPTER PROGRAMS:THE NEWLY DESIGNED A-6000WIN AND THE ORIGINAL A-600WIN/ 202

THE NEW a-6000WIN maintains all of the features of the original but, because it is structured to work with files saved as Rich Text, it provides the ability to instantly edit the active prompter copy from any location without returining to the change and immediately restart.

With the latest version of the A-600WIN/202 employs any Windows word processor as the prompter editing features of your word processor and print the file to the prompter; nothing could be easier.

If operation with Window98 on a desktop computer with the original A-600WIN Program Version 2.02 (or windows98/2000 with version 3.0 or higher), a second computer monitor can be added to the system. The script document and the prompter can then be kept open full- screen, enabling simultaneous operation.

Future versions of the A-600WIN will provide closed- captioning of text and full Runorder Management, including interface to major newsroon systems.

DOS PROMPTER SOFTWARE

easily ron from current versions of Window and featuring a triple split-screen display for prompting directly from the editor or story listings, the A-6000 includes full Runorder management and prompting in black and white or color. LISTEC'S VU-LITE TFT FLAT PANEL PROMPTERS

Vu-Lite Displays employ TFT active matrix screens with adjustable backlighting for maximum brightness, especially important for prompting. The Vu- Lite Series is identified by the Prefix " T " and encompasses 11 inch (10.4" diagonal), 12 inch (12.1" diagonal) and 15 inch (15.0" diagonal) panels. It should be noted that the viewing area of flat panels is apporoximately 1.5 inches greater than a typical monitor. The resolution of the 11" panel is standard 640x480@60Hz; the 12" is 800x600@60Hz. The 15 inch is a Multisync XGA displayt that automatically locks in at varying frequency rates up to 1024x768@85Hz and features genlock and composite loop- through.

When operating with a Motebook computer and direct PC Graphic is required, to maintain simulataneous viewing of both the internal and external displays, the T-2012 or T-2015 should be specified. As the 12 inch Vu-Lite operates at 800x600@60Hz, this panel is capable of being driven simultaneously by SVGA rated laptop computers meeting the required design specifications. The 15 inch is a multisync dusplay and will operate at vertical refresh rates up to 85Hz.

To conserve power and keep the weight to minumum, the internal circuitry within Notebook computers is shared. Therefore, while most Notebooks can be set to run either the internal or external display at the required screen resolution and verical refresh rate, when both ports are active at the same time, the computer's external port resolution may not be stepped down sufficiently. This is a result of the computer arbitrarily resetting graphic to what the native display expects to see, thereby affecting the resetting graohics to what the native display expects to see, thereby affecting the directed to the external port. This is a general rule and not specific to Listec's Vu-Lite Panels.

When driving the panels through Composite (NTSC/PAL/SECAM), S-Video from a Desktop computer, simultaneous output can be achieved and any of the Vu-Lite Panels can be selected.

The entire Vu-Lite Series is available with the Fold-Down Mirror/ hood, or Extra Wide Arrangment, Standard Studio, Trapezoidal Mirror/Hood, or Extra Wide Angle Mirror/Hood Assembly required for studio camera (or portable cameras) with large, box- type zoom lenses, Mounting are interchangeable.

Flat-Screen Vu-Lite Prompters can be employed as any prompter would be. They are expecially ideal for use with robotic cameras, jib arms, lightweight support a prompter.

Power to Vu-Lite Panels is by mean an AC adapter that provides typical computer voltages. Operation is universal 100-250V, 50-60Hz. A DC converter is optionally available from a regulated 12VCD souse between 9.6 and 14.4 VDC.

Controls are push-button driven. The operator is able to select Direct PC or Video; Brightness, Contrast, Color Saturation, Image Position and other convenient settings.

All Vu-Lite Panels may be utilized for direct viewing; simple disengage from the prompter support hardware and flip the scans with a simple menu command.
