The Spectra 10000 tape library delivers exceptional storage capacity and throughput in only 7 inches of rack space. Scalable from 20 to 40 slots and from 1 to 4 tape drives, the Spectra 10000 is a proven, reliable storage workhorse, ideal for fast, frequent backups of large networks, servers, VLDBs and data warehouses. With over 10 terabytes (TB) of compressed storage (using Sony AIT-3 tape technology), no other library comes close to providing this much capacity in such a compact space. Available fully loaded with 40 slots or entry level with a 20 slot configuration.
